Today's Lesson in the Art of Subtle Messaging

Kellogg's coco-pops (that's a cereal for those who don't know) have included as a toy/gimmick a pedometer. (again for those who don't know, it's a device that measures how may steps you take.) On the pack it says for kids to aim to walk 11,000 steps a day. For those of you who are unlearned in the ways of subtlety, this message screams "Hey kid. Lose some weight fatty." Still, it's nice to know that corporations care enough to encourage kids to go out and get some exercise.

but evan i've got one of those pedometers too :(

Does that mean that i too need to loose some weight?

But I really think it was a good idea of coco pops to put them in the boxes. I mean what a nice little suprise to find other than a "Drivers licence" (My grandfather thinks 50% of people on the road got their licence from inside a cereal box, I kind of agree with that)

So yay I have a kool toy :)
