Today's Lesson in the Art of Correct Phrasing

An emergency button at my uni's main bus stop. In place of writing the standard "press in case of emergency," some wit has inscribed the phrase "Press for attention" in black under the button. So as an extra message after many numerous presses for attention. A new sign has been placed above the button in red "For emergency uses only." It goes to show how much trouble can be caused due to poor phrasing. Be careful of what you say.
